White Mystery? It really is a mystery isn’t it. No clues what flavor this Airhead candy is. Unless you taste it, of course. So that’s what I did. And I’d like to share with you my experience here today.
So, what flavor is Airheads White Mystery? The flavor of Airheads Mystery varies and changes airhead by airhead. That’s because other leftover flavored Airheads are mixed together, including strawberry, watermelon, grape and blue raspberry. Hence, White Mystery can taste more like any one flavor or a blend of all that they are made from.
Still, you can expect Airheads White Mystery to be sweet, and fruit-flavored, with a soft chewy texture.
Sorry about that. I can’t be conclusive.
But clues in the title, to be fair.
Nonetheless, the good news is, it makes this candy incredibly exciting.
You just don’t know what you’re going to get.

There are seven different flavors of airheads, all of which can be used to make Airheads White Mystery.

Thus, White Mystery is actually the eighth and final flavor in the Airheads range.
Why Are Airheads White Mystery White In Color?
Airheads White Mystery candies are white in color, due to the fact that they are made with colorless candy.
This is in fact, true of all Airheads – at least when they are first made.
All Airhead candy flavors are all made from a colorless candy.
Later in the process, the flavored dye is added to make the different flavors.
And when it comes to Airheads White Mystery, that’s when various different flavors are introduced.
Lastly
So there you have it.
Perfetti Van Melle (the manufactures behind Airheads) use the concept of leftovers to make their White Mystery product.
Instead of throwing out unrequired product, they are mixed together to create a candy that differs batch by batch.
So, what Airhead Mystery you end up with is essentially flavors that were no longer needed or could not make their own flavor in their own right.
So, if your Airheads Mystery taste like Grape, Strawberry or Watermelon, or a delicious blend of all three – that is why.
